One could say it’s in our DNA, but we like to see it as achieving the “what should be” to enable the “what could be” for our customers. Data onboarding should be simple. Data standardization should be a process that requires minimal engineering intervention. Getting a unified view of data should be a self-serve operation for business teams. On top of it all, the enabling solution should be low cost and require minimal resources.
Addressing these complexities opens up many possibilities for organizations. The “what could be” becomes a reality and data becomes the enabler. That is our commitment to our customers—to enable them with the ability to fully unlock the value of their data and empower business teams to collaborate on and leverage it.
Lore IO was founded in 2016 by industry veterans from Walmart Labs and is led by seasoned startup executives. The Lore IO platform abstracts out the semantic and infrastructure complexities of how data is captured and unified, enabling customers to easily standardize on a Common Data Model across their data silos—simpler, faster, and at low cost.
I love building things that matter. Figuring out what matters is the most challenging and fun part of that. At Lore IO, data has become a passion. In today's hyperconnected and contentious world, data, if used right, can provide a grounding of shared facts and knowledge.
Otherwise, I love reading and video games and do both of these with my kids whenever possible.
At work, where we build software to help analysts wrangle their data, I’m always looking for opportunities to simplify our tech and product. At home, however, I often take the opposite tack and drive my family crazy with smart home automations and electronics DIY projects. The irony is that the very kind of technological chaos I aim to avoid at work, I invite at home and in my personal life in order to learn and grow.
I’m an accidental entrepreneur who loves to build innovative products that could have great impact. I remember one life-changing event while I was driving home one night in India. I saw someone lying unconscious on the road as a result of an automobile accident. I immediately took him to the hospital and he got timely medical attention. The event motivated me to build my first mobile app, which used a built-in accelerometer to trigger an emergency response system by detecting the intensity of the fall. This experience kick-started my entrepreneurship journey where I have built many innovative and customer-first products with other amazing techies and entrepreneurs. In my spare time, I love to volunteer with other startups and non-profit organizations.
Creating something beautiful out of complexity is something that I enjoy doing. Finding the easiest way, the right technology, and the best product design to solve a complex problem is always a puzzle that my mind gets excited about accomplishing. For me, technology is a means to create products that will help solve complex problems. This is also why, during my free time, I like finding the best ingredients that work well together in order to create complex, yet easy to appreciate, dishes.
I enjoy building things as well as using logic to solve complex problems, which is why I am drawn to software engineering. My previous career was in finance / data analysis, and I am particularly interested in developing software that makes data analysis more efficient and effective. Outside of work, I enjoy training with my running club. I love to be active outdoors and also like to hike, camp, raft and ski.
Engineering attracts me because I love innovating simple solutions to complex problems and creating automation. As an avid gamer, I play many types of games, such as first-person shooters, role playing, and rhythm action. I also contribute to the modding community by creating mods to automate and enhance people’s gaming experience. Besides this, I keep myself active by playing badminton and shooting archery.
Exploring and understanding new concepts and new domains keeps me energized. I find it fulfilling to pursue efficiency - whether it is through innovative solutions to make a customer’s life easier, by improving a process for the team or by building great products that reduce the drudgery from somebody’s day - it makes the world around us a little bit better. For life outside work I enjoy biking, hiking, swimming and enjoy the beautiful California outdoors. In September 2021, I completed a 100 km bike ride for the charity, Asha For Education.
Right from my childhood days, I have been crazy about computers and have always tried the latest tech. I enjoy meeting and connecting with people, which perfectly suits my role as an Implementation Engineer. In this role, I can talk to customers, understand their business problems, and deliver the solution beyond their expectations. Outside of work, you can find me with a camera in my hand, exploring the world through unique angles and capturing the everyday in a different light.
Adventurous by nature, I have lived in five different cities spread across multiple continents. I went from competing at the Track and Field World Championships to working for a tech startup in the Bay Area. Always driven by my passions, I am always willing to take the risk in order to reach my goals.
During the past few years, I have specialized in manipulating large amounts of data and have realized that today, data drives most of our innovations and key decisions. I have even incorporated data analysis in my daily life from analyzing my heart rate variation during a 5 km race in order to maximize performance to building a patient cohort for an upcoming oncology drug launch. I am challenging the data on a daily basis to solve real-world problems that will make an impact and bring answers and insights at different scales.
As a quality engineer, I always focus on optimizing product quality using the proper tools, technologies and frameworks, and work with the development team to create and maintain the standards for our products. In addition, I work on business requirement analysis and quality-related documentation. Besides this, I love travelling, hiking, gardening, cooking, and spending time with my family.
Informed intuition best describes my approach to integrated marketing. I am happiest when I combine data-backed insights with content and program strategies to generate positive outcomes. Hands-on experience in each marketing discipline and a thorough understanding of the sales process helps me visualize the challenges and actualize the outcomes.
In many ways, my work ethic reflects how I have enjoyed life as a volunteer, citizen scientist, DJ, Zamboni operator, snowboarder, overlander, traveler, photographer, writer, cocktail mixologist, and online community manager.
Perhaps I am a little crazy. If so, I don't want to be completely sane.
